About This Product
MCS five-tooth oil pump drive gear. It mounts on the pinion shaft and drives the oil pump on 1954-1972 Big Twin models. The gear meshes with the driven gear to maintain oil pressure through the engine. Fit a new gear during any oil pump service or bottom end rebuild. It also fixes low oil pressure on Panhead and early Shovelhead engines.
Manufacturer part number: 504230.
