This is an MCS cast replacement piston for 1972-1985 XL1000 Sportster. This is standard bore for original barrels. Standard 9:1 compression ratio. Wristpin and clips included. Rings sold separately. Cast construction runs tighter clearances than forged and costs less than the OEM forged equivalent. A qualified mechanic must verify compatibility before assembly. Follow standard break-in procedure to seat the rings.
