About This Product
MCS cast replacement piston for 1972-1985 XL1000 Sportster. It is +0.050" oversize. Compression ratio is 9:1. Each piston includes wristpin and wristpin clips. Rings are separate. Cast aluminium expands less than forged and costs less too. Use this when the bore is worn beyond a hone and re-ring. Measure your bore before ordering. Break it in gently and verify ring seating after the first heat cycle.
