About This Product
MCS lower shifter pawl lifter arm for 1954–1956 KH and 1957–1990 XL Sportster models. You need one per gearbox. It replaces Harley-Davidson OEM 34506-52A. Fit this when the original arm is worn or the pawl is not lifting cleanly through the gears. A worn lifter arm causes missed shifts and false neutrals. Check the mating surfaces for burrs before assembly.
Manufacturer part number: 504601.
