About This Product
MCS rear wheel hydraulic brake cylinder. Fits 1958 to 1962 FL models. Replaces Harley-Davidson OEM 41740-58. This is the wheel cylinder for the rear drum brake on Panhead Duo-Glide models. The piston bore wears over time. If the rear brake drags or the pedal is spongy, replace this cylinder. Bleed the system thoroughly after fitment. Check the backing plate for corrosion around the mounting bore before installation.
