Rear wheel hydraulic brake cylinder for 1963–1972 FL and FLH models and 1971–1972 FX Super Glides. This MCS replacement wheel cylinder operates the rear drum brake shoes and is a critical component for safe stopping. If your rear brake is dragging, leaking fluid, or the pedal feels spongy, the wheel cylinder is a likely culprit. This unit bolts into the rear brake backing plate in the factory position. Use DOT-approved brake fluid and bleed the system thoroughly after installation. An essential safety component for keeping your Shovelhead or Panhead stopping reliably.
