MCS brake pedal return spring. Replaces OEM 42426-58 and 507036. Fits 1958 to 1969 XL Sportster. This spring returns the pedal to rest and stops the rear brake dragging. The original often sags after sixty years. A tired spring makes the pedal feel vague and the brake can drag. Fit a new one. Adjust the freeplay before you tighten the locknut.
