About This Product
MCS standard-size bronze pinion shaft bushing fits the cam cover on 1936 to 1953 Big Twins, excluding Flatheads. It replaces OEM 25582-36. Use JIMS tool 978279 for installation. A worn bushing lets the pinion shaft wander and throws off the timing gear mesh. This bushing keeps the shaft stable and the gears aligned.
