About This Product
MCS electronic FL-style ignition switch. This black 6-pole unit replaces the dual fuel tank-mounted ignition on FL and FX models from 1973 to 1995. It replaces OEM 512877. The original uses internal rod contacts. This one uses smooth contacts. That prevents the momentary power drops often experienced when turning the switch. It gives a consistent electrical supply and a smoother tactile feel. It takes a round key.
Manufacturer part number: 512877.
