About This Product
MCS clutch spring plate fits late 1984 to 1990 XL Sportster models. Mechanics call it the grenade plate because the original brass rivets fail and the plate comes apart in the primary. This one is built to stock spec and sits between the steel drive plates in standard applications. It replaces OEM 36789-84. You need one per clutch pack. If your four-speed Sportster is dragging or shifting erratically, this is the usual fix. Part number 515511.
