About This Product
MCS front wheel axle. Replaces OEM 43875-48. Fits 1949 to 1966 FL, covering Panhead and Shovelhead years. Works with Hydra-Glide and early Duo-Glide front ends. This axle carries the clamping load for your front wheel bearings and spacers. It needs to be straight and torqued to spec. A worn axle will wear the spacers oval and ruin the bearing seat. If you are rebuilding the front end on one of these early Big Twins, check this first.
