About This Product
MCS 17-tooth 1st gear countershaft. Replaces OEM 35760-73. Fits late 1973 to early 1984 XL Sportster four-speed gearboxes. Use this when the original dogs are rounded or the teeth show wear. It drops onto the countershaft. Check the engagement dogs on the matching mainshaft gear before you button the case up. Inspect the shift fork pads and the countershaft bush while you are in there. Sold each.
