About This Product
This MCS tappet adjusting screw kit for 1957–1985 XL Sportster models includes four screws featuring a 5/16-inch ball end and 9/32-32 threads. Compatible with OEM tappets 18508-52B and any other adjustable tappets with 9/32-32 threads. Replaces OEM reference 18554-57. Matching lock nuts are available separately as JIMS 513466, Colony 989353, or import 513465. A precise replacement for worn tappet adjustment hardware on these early Sportster engines.
