About This Product
MCS outer swingarm bearing spacer for late 1974 to 1981 Sportster models. It replaces OEM 47517-74. This spacer centres the swingarm in the frame and sets the preload on the bearing assembly. The old ones pit and wear. That puts play in the rear fork. Fit a fresh one when you service the swingarm. It is a small part but it keeps the suspension action smooth and the rear end steady.
