About This Product
MCS oil pump drive gear. Fits 1977 to 1987 XL Sportster models including Ironhead and early Evo. Replaces OEM 26318-75. This gear mates the oil pump to the gearcase and drives the pump internals. Inspect the teeth for pitting or hooked wear whenever the primary is off. A worn gear will drop oil pressure without warning. Fit a new one now and you will not have to pull the cover again next month.
