About This Product
MCS frame cup and bearing conversion kit. Converts the loose ball bearing neck on pre-1977 K and XL Sportsters to the Timken-style tapered bearing setup used on 1978-up models. Includes frame cups, bearing races, bearings, and dust shields. Fits 1952 to 1956 K and KH, and 1957 to 1977 XL Sportsters. Matches OEM reference 45586-78. Replacement bearings are available separately as MCS 945586.
