About This Product
The MCS frame cup and bearing conversion kit upgrades pre-1977 K and XL Sportster models still using the original loose ball bearing neck system. Complete kit includes frame cups, bearing races, Timken-style tapered bearings, and dust shields for converting to the modern tapered setup used on 1978-up XL Sportsters, per OEM reference 45586-78. Fits 1952–1956 K and KH and 1957–1977 XL Sportsters. Replacement bearings available separately as MCS 945586.
