About This Product
MCS shifter shaft bushing for foot shift. Fits the 34453-52 shifter shaft in the ratchet top of 1941 to early 1979 4-speed Big Twin transmissions. Replaces OEM 34435-52. It controls lateral float of the shaft through the top cover. Once it is worn you get oil weep past the shaft and imprecise shifting. Fit it during a top cover rebuild. Check the shaft for galling before you press the new one home.
