About This Product
MCS shifter shaft for the shifter cam. Replaces OEM 34031-41 and 2244-41. Fits 1952 to early 1979 FL and FX models, and 1941 to 1973 45" Flathead models. This shaft drives the shifter cam. If the old one is twisted or the splines are rounded the cam will not index properly and you will miss gears. Fit it during a transmission overhaul when the top cover is off.
