About This Product
MCS 23-tooth transmission sprocket for early 5-speed Big Twin gearboxes. It fits 1979 to 1985 Shovelhead and early Evolution models. This sprocket mounts on the transmission mainshaft and works with the final drive chain. A 23-tooth count raises overall gearing slightly for motorway work. Inspect your primary chain and clutch basket while the primary is apart. Check the mainshaft nut torque on reassembly.
