About This Product
This S&S billet electronic distributor is a high-quality component used on S&S early Shovel-style engines. Machined from billet aluminum and featuring a clean, flat cover, this distributor is designed to fit 1936 to 1969 OEM Big Twin engines as well as S&S SH-series engines with pre-1970 style cases. It rotates clockwise like a 1970-up model, allowing for the use of modern electronic ignition systems. Please note that installation on an original 1936 to 1969 engine requires the use of a counterclockwise rotating gear assembly, such as S&S part 998887. The electronic ignition system itself must be purchased separately to complete the setup.
