The MCS Blue Lightning air filter element is a direct replacement for Screamin' Eagle and Roland Sands Design Venturi closed-front air cleaner kits on HDI (International) models, offering a cost-effective upgrade over standard foam or paper elements. Constructed from four layers of ribbed, pre-oiled cotton media wrapped in coated wire mesh, it delivers superior airflow and filtration while standing up to heat and wash cycles far better than stock. It fits 2000–2015 Softail, 1999–2007 Dyna, FLT/Touring and 2007–2022 XL Sportster models equipped with SE Stage 1 & 2 or RSD Venturi kits, replacing OEM number 29442-99A.
