The shifter cam plate is the heart of the gear selection process in your transmission. This MCS replacement is designed for 1952 to 1956 K and KH models, as well as 1957 to 1976 XL Sportsters. It serves as a direct replacement for OEM part numbers 34012-52, 34012-52A, 34012-52B, and 34012-52C. If your Sportster is jumping out of gear or having trouble finding neutral, a worn cam plate is often the culprit. This part is manufactured to precise tolerances to ensure the shifter forks move exactly as they should, restoring that positive "click" between gears that these classic Ironheads are known for.
