Servicing the modern 6-speed Cruise Drive transmission requires specific tools to avoid damaging the casing or the bearings. This George's Garage tool is designed for removing and installing transmission trapdoor bearings on later model Harleys. It is also capable of pulling the transmission door without the need to remove the entire gear set, making it a huge time-saver in the shop. Note that door bearings must be replaced if the tool is used for door removal. This tool fits 2006 to 2017 Dyna models, 2007 to 2026 Softail models, and 2007 to 2026 FLT Touring models. It is a rugged, reliable choice for any mechanic working on 6-speed Big Twins.
