About This Product
JIMS compensator lock kit fits 2012 to 2013 Big Twin models running the SE 40274-08A or OEM 83935-09A compensator assembly. It replaces the stock 37810-08A sprocket retainer. The kit positively locks the compensator so it cannot back off. Heavy power pulses on big motors can loosen the standard retainer. If the compensator walks it can damage the alternator rotor and charging system. Fit this if you are running a big-inch motor or just want the compensator locked properly.
