Installing the transmission mainshaft oil seal can be a tricky job if you do not have the right depth, and that is where this George’s Garage installer tool comes in. It is designed to seat the large OEM 12074 and 12074A seals perfectly straight and to the exact depth required without risking any damage to the bearings. This tool covers a massive range of fitments, including 2007 to 2026 Softail, Touring, and Trike models, as well as 2006 to 2017 Dynas. It also works for 2006 to 2022 Sportster XL models and 2008 to 2012 XR1200 bikes. It is a professional-grade tool that ensures a leak-free seal every time you button up the primary.
