About This Product
This small but essential James Gaskets primary shifter hole gasket is a critical part of the sealing system on mid-shift models. It is a round, washer-style gasket that installs on the inside of the inner primary cover to seal off the shifter shaft. Replacing OEM 63869-06, this gasket is designed for 2018 to 2025 Softail and 2006 to 2017 Dyna models equipped with mid-controls. It is one of those parts that is easily overlooked during a primary teardown, but using a fresh one is the only way to ensure you don't end up with a leak around the shifter shaft after everything is bolted back together.
