About This Product
These JIMS mechanical compression release valves are the perfect remedy for hard-starting, high-compression Harley engines. Sold as a pair, these valves feature a 10x1.0mm thread and are designed to fit a wide range of Big Twins, XL Sportsters, and Buell XB models. Operation is simple: just push the button to vent cylinder pressure before starting. Once the engine fires up, the valves automatically close to restore full compression. They are a lifesaver for your starter motor and battery on performance builds. For Twin Cam owners, JIMS also offers a dedicated drill fixture and tap tool to make the installation into your cylinder heads as precise as possible.
