754 Inner primary. Chrome

This Paughco chrome inner primary is a specialized component for custom Shovelhead builds. It allows you to replace the bulky OEM aluminum inner primary with a classic tin-style housing while still using a 1970 to early 1984 alternator-style Shovel engine. This cover is designed for kickstart-only models and fits 4-speed Big Twins with either rigid or swingarm frames. To complete the installation, you will need a matching tin outer primary cover that is compatible with the 1970-1984 compensating sprocket. Some minor spacing may be required between the crankcase and the cover for a perfect fit. It is an excellent way to achieve a vintage look on a later Shovelhead drivetrain.
