About This Product
Belt Drives Ltd clutch pulley basket for 3-inch open belt drives. It has 72 teeth with round clutch dogs and suits electric start Shovelhead models from 1970 to 1978. This basket replaces the item in MCS 518591 BDL electric start open belt drive kit. The dogs engage the clutch plates and the teeth drive the primary belt. Fit it when the dogs are worn or the basket teeth are hooked. Check belt tension and clutch operation after installation.
