About This Product
Maxima DOT 5.1 Brake Fluid is a high-performance hydraulic fluid designed for brake and clutch systems requiring a non-silicone based solution. This 500cc bottle contains a pale yellow fluid that exceeds US FMVSS 116 DOT 5.1, DOT 3, and DOT 4 specifications. It features an anti-vapor lock formulation with a dry boiling point of 269°C to maintain a consistent lever feel under heavy use. Maxima Racing Oils engineered this fluid to resist oxidation and corrosion while remaining compatible with SBR and EPDM rubbers. It is suitable for modern Harley-Davidson hydraulic systems but must never be mixed with DOT 5 silicone-based fluids.
