They allow you to reuse your original equipment switches and wiring while upgrading the look of your handlebars to a high-luster chrome finish. This set fits 1996 to 2010 Softails (excluding the 2003 FXSTDSE), 1996 to 2011 Dynas, 1996 to 2013 Road King models, 1996 to 2013 XL Sportsters, 2008 to 2012 XR1200, and 2002 to 2013 V-Rod models. They are a direct replacement for OEM part numbers 70222-96B and 900536.
