About This Product
Setting the correct neck bearing tension is critical for stable handling, and this OEM-style fork bearing adjuster makes the job straightforward. Finished in zinc plating with 1"-24 threads, this adjuster sits between the top neck bearing and the top triple tree. It allows you to precisely preload the frame neck bearings before the top stem nut is torqued down, preventing the steering from binding or becoming too loose. It fits a wide range of machines, including 1949 to 1984 FL models, 1980 to 1986 FXWG, 1984 to 2017 Softails, and 1993 to 2002 Wide Glides. It replaces OEM 48332-48C and 48324-00A.
