Bringing back the soul of a kickstart to a 5-speed evolution is a classic move. This chrome kickstart kit is a direct fit for 1987 to 1989 Big Twin models, but it can also be adapted to fit other Big Twins from 1982 to 2000, excluding Twin Cam engines, with the right conversion parts. It uses many traditional 4-speed style components, making future maintenance straightforward. The kit, listed under OEM number 900790, comes with a beautifully chromed cover and all the internal hardware required for the swap. Note that 1982 to 1986 models will require a later style clutch cable and release kit, while 1990 to 1999 models need an earlier style clutch adjuster screw.
