About This Product
MCS transmission countershaft oiler plug for 1973-1985 XL Sportster. Replaces OEM 35631-73. This plug seals the countershaft oil gallery and directs oil inside the case instead of letting it seep out past the threads. Fit a new one whenever you split the gearbox or spot oil weeping from the primary side. It is a small part but it keeps the transmission lubricated. Straightforward to replace during routine maintenance or a full teardown.
