About This Product
Keeping an old-school charging system functional means paying attention to the hardware inside the generator. These MCS generator field pole screws are designed to secure the field coils and pole shoes inside the generator housing. They are a direct replacement for OEM 30280-58 and are intended for use with 2-brush generators. This fitment includes 1958 through 1969 FL models and 1958 through 1981 XL Sportsters. Because these screws are often subjected to heat and vibration, they can become seized or damaged over time. This pack of ten ensures you have the correct fasteners to properly seat your field coils for maximum electrical efficiency.
