About This Product
MCS stock-style rocker arm for the front intake valve on Ironhead Sportsters. Fits 1957 to 1985 XL models. Replaces OEM 17396-57A. Inspect the shaft bore for ovality and the pad for concave wear before fitting. Set the pushrod clearance with the engine cold and torque the rocker box in the correct sequence. A sloppy rocker arm beats up the valve stem and makes top-end clatter. This one keeps the intake valve lift where it should be.
