About This Product
MCS cast replacement piston for the 1957–1971 XL900 Ironhead. Standard bore size, 9:1 compression ratio. The kit gives you the piston, wristpin and wristpin clips. You will need to buy rings separately. Check the bore for taper and out-of-round before you order. These are cast pistons, so get your clearances right and follow break-in procedure. Best fitted by someone who knows early Sportsters.
