When you are diving into the bottom end of a Twin Cam Softail, these retaining rings are essential for the engine balancer assembly. Specifically designed for 2007 to 2017 Softail models, these rings are used to retain the bearings of the engine balancer. There are typically two used per engine. This part is a direct replacement for OEM 35240-07. Given the high-vibration environment and the critical nature of the balancer system, using fresh, high-quality retaining rings is a must during any rebuild or service. These are sold in a pack of 10, so you will have enough for multiple builds or to keep as spares in the shop. This is a vital internal fastener from MCS, part number 905298.
