About This Product
This mainshaft ball bearing retaining ring is a versatile fastener used across several classic Harley-Davidson transmission applications. It is an accurate replacement for OEM 35112-52, designed to keep the mainshaft bearing securely positioned within the case. For 1952 to 1956 K and KH models, as well as 1957 to 1978 XL Sportster models, it is used for both the inner and outer bearing positions. On 1979 to early 1984 XL Sportsters, it serves as the inner retaining ring. Because these rings can lose their tension over decades of service, replacing them during a gearbox overhaul is a smart move for any mechanic. This MCS part ensures your transmission internals stay locked in place under load.
