If you are looking to modernize the clutch feel on your 1965 to early 1984 Big Twin, this MCS diaphragm upgrade kit is the answer. It allows you to convert from the old-style stock coil springs to a more modern diaphragm clutch spring setup, similar to what Harley-Davidson used in later years. This kit, which replaces OEM 906956, includes the new release disc and pressure plate required for the conversion. Please note that the diaphragm spring itself is not included; you will need to order a heavy-duty Alto spring separately. It is a great way to improve clutch engagement and consistency on vintage machines.
