About This Product
MCS 9-tooth starter gear. It fits 1993 Big Twin models only. Replaces OEM 31342-93. Later years moved to a different tooth count. Rounded teeth cause the clashing noise you hear when you thumb the button. Fit a new gear before it damages the ring gear on the clutch basket or the starter motor itself. It is cheaper work than replacing the clutch basket or the starter. Part number 918248.
Manufacturer part number: 918248.
