About This Product
The oil pump check valve is a small but critical part of your Sportster's lubrication system, preventing oil from sumping into the crankcase when the bike is parked. This check valve spring is designed specifically for late 1972 through 1976 Harley-Davidson XL Sportster models. If your bike is smoking on startup or showing inconsistent oil pressure, a weak or broken spring could be the culprit. This part replaces OEM number 26364-72. To ensure you have plenty on hand for shop use or future maintenance, these springs are sold in a pack of ten.
