When servicing 41mm front ends, these fork seal back-up rings are essential for providing the correct spacing and support for the seals. Sold as a pair, they are a direct replacement for OEM 45865-84. Fitment includes 1984 to 1986 FXWG, 1984 to 2017 Softails (excluding 2008-2011 FXCW/C and 2013-2017 FXSB), 1984 to 2013 FLT Touring models, 1993 to 2005 FXDWG, and 2012 to 2016 FLD Switchback models. These spacers ensure the fork seal sits at the proper depth within the slider, preventing leaks and ensuring smooth travel. They are a small but critical part of any comprehensive fork service on these classic and late-model machines.
