About This Product
Correcting bearing pre-load is critical for the longevity of your bottom end. This MCS sprocket shaft bearing spacer shim measures .110 inches thick and is designed specifically for 1977 to 2003 Sportster models. When you are shimming the sprocket shaft, precision is everything to ensure the flywheel assembly stays centered and the bearings are not under too much or too little stress. This shim replaces OEM 9147 and 965405. If you need a wider range of adjustment during your engine build, we also carry a nine-piece assortment under part number 965410 that covers thicknesses from .098 to .112 inches.
