About This Product
This is the MCS steel transmission mount plate for 5-speed Softails. It replaces OEM 47698-86B. It fits 1986 to 1999 5-speed Softail models. The plate is steel and mounts the transmission to the frame. A cracked plate lets the transmission shift and kills primary alignment. It will chew belts and chains. Fit this plate and torque the hardware to spec. Check the primary alignment after fitting. Good for restorations or replacing a cracked factory part.
