About This Product
MCS 3/8" steel ball for the oil pump check valve on 1937 to 1973 45" Flathead models. These sit in the pump body and stop oil wet-sumping into the crankcase when the bike is parked. Replaces OEM 8866. Sold as a bulk pack of 25. They roll under the bench or pit over time, so having a handful in the drawer saves a job. Fit a fresh ball and it seals proper against the seat. That keeps the lubrication circuit healthy.
