If you are looking to run a custom petcock on a later-style fuel tank, this MCS petcock adapter nut is the perfect solution. It allows you to convert 1975-up tanks that feature a 22mm external thread to a standard 1/4-inch NPT thread. This opens up a wide range of custom 1/4-inch threaded petcocks for your build. It fits 1975 through 2006 Big Twin and XL Sportster models, excluding fuel-injected bikes, as well as any custom tanks using the 75-up style threaded bung. It is a simple, well-machined piece of hardware that makes fuel system customization much easier.
