MCS torsion spring for the transmission shifter arm. It fits 1991-2003 5-speed XL Sportster models. Replaces OEM 34481-91A. Only one is required per bike. It returns the shifter arm to centre after every click. If your shifting feels mushy or the lever is not returning as it should, this spring is often the fix. Check your model year before ordering.
