About This Product
This Manley valve spring kit is a solid upgrade for 1957 to 1985 Sportster engines, designed to handle everything from stock cams up to a .490" lift. The kit includes steel top collars and dual-style valve springs that feature an interference fit. This design is crucial for reducing harmonics and controlling spring surge at higher RPMs. You get about 20% more pressure than the original factory springs, with seat pressure at 85lbs at 1.310" and 295lbs at .820". One of the best things about this setup is that it requires no machining for installation, making it a straightforward bolt-in performance improvement for your Ironhead. It is sold as a kit.
