About This Product
When you're building a high-performance Shovelhead, you need a valve spring setup that can handle the heat. This Manley high-lift kit is designed for 1966 to 1984 Shovelhead models running cams with .500" to .650" lift. It features a specialized three-spring design with an interference fit to keep harmonics in check and prevent spring surge. The kit comes complete with lightweight titanium top collars, steel lower collars, valve springs, and a valve key set. Note that because of the high-lift nature of these springs, you will need to machine the valve guides to ensure the top collar doesn't interfere. It provides significantly more pressure than stock, rated at 180lbs at 1.600" and 415lbs at .950". Sold as a kit.
